In less than one year since the divorce, my life has been miraculously reinvented. I do the things that I enjoy most and feel destined to do. As a result, I am now the author of a newly self-published book entitled "Destiny: by Divine Design". My new book “YOUR DESTINY BY DIVINE DESIGN:12 Days to Become Empowered to Define Your Destiny and Maximize Your Potential to Live the Life of Your Dreams" will be available in early 2010 and will include a new forward by Rick Warren. I have been transformed into the "Divine Destiny Doctor" as a life coach motivating busy professionals and celebrities to discover how they can become empowered to define their destiny, maximize their potential and live the life of their dreams, despite their circumstances -- just like I did!.
Having already visited S. Africa, the Caribbean, India, the Philippines, I have learned that people are basically the same all over the world and just want to be loved, appreciated and accepted. I have come to love and appreciate the uniqueness of all cultures around the world and have learned to be gentler and kinder to all people. I believe that the world would be a more peaceful place if we all held such a position.
As the result of a grant awarded by the Lily Endowment, my most recent adventure began in July 2009, with travels to Latin American countries that include: Venezuela, Costa Rica, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Over the course of a five month time of exploration, I attended Spanish language immersion programs, experiencing the culture, the food, the people and, of course, the music and dance. Most importantly, I learned a new language. It has always been my dream to be bilingual and I am going for it! This trip has particular meaning for me as my father, whom I have never met, has Hispanic roots. As I traveled there, I got so many aha's about why I am the way I am as I experienced the life there. This marvelous adventure has connected me with my own Hispanic heritage. I will write about this life altering experience in my new book entitled “A Woman’s Right of Passage – One Woman’s Journey to Herself”.
I cherish spending quality time and friendship with my adult daughter, Lydia, 24, although she does not live with me. We are discovering the things that we hold in common. My son, Warren, 28 is a chef and loves to cook. I am also celebrating the fact that I just turned 50 years old this past June and because of my new-found joy, I feel and look better than I have in my entire life! Another adventure, I celebrated, along with my triplet sisters, a 50th Birthday Bon Voyage Bash in an elegant banquet facility with 200 guests. It included a jazz band, a comedian and a DJ and with a local radio personality as Mistress of Ceremony. We talked, we laughed and we danced. It was indeed a blast! I have posted these pictures. Needless to say, I am having the time of my life as go everywhere I can, do everything I can, help all of the people I can and live the best life I can! I know that my adventures afford me the opportunity to meet Oprah Winfrey as well as Tyler Perry. I admire them both, not only for their creative genius but also for the unique contributions that they make to the world. Some people call me courageous. But for me it's more about living life to the fullest! I believe that life is just one great big adventure that is meant to be shared and enjoyed!

Over the past 20 years, I have helped countless individuals all over the world to realize and lay hold of their destiny.
